Frank Lloyd Wright used his first home to experiment with design concepts that contain the seeds of his architectural philosophy. In his adjacent studio, Wright and his associates developed a new American architecture - the Prairie style. Trained interpreters offer insights into Wright's family life and architectural career.
Entry into the Home and Studio is by guided tour only. Limited wheelchair accessibility is available. Please call 312.994.4000 in advance for special arrangements.
Dates + Times:
Daily: 11 am - 4 pm
Weekends: Approximately every 20 minutes
Weekdays:
Late November – mid-March: Hourly
Mid-March - mid-June: Hourly and 20 minutes past the hour
Mid-June - August: Every 20 minutes
September – late November: Hourly and 20 minutes past the hour
Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day.

Tour length: 45-60 minutes
Admission: $15 adult, $12 student and senior (65+). Free tickets for children 3 and under. Tour group size is strictly limited. All guests, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the museum.
